This will be a co-creative environment to learn more about the deeper practice of chanting and it’s ability to transform one’s attitudes and consciousness.
The workshop will enable you to form your own daily chanting practice, and will be useful to those interested in leading chanting circles of their own. Participants of the workshop are encouraged to bring instruments as to have an experience of leading a group and learn some songs (free songbook included), with tips on playing harmonium and guitar, and vocal exercises
for improving your voice and opening blockages in your expression.
The workshop is open to all levels – no experience required, just a willingness to learn.
Bookings essential as spaces are limited to ensure an intimate experience.
Chanting concerts…
The reason we call these events “chanting concerts” is that they differ from our normal chanting circle. They will be in a larger, specially selected venue with top quality sound and divinely inspired support musicians, great chai and cakes.
I would call them more of a ceremony of the heart than a concert.
