A letter from Kevin and Mel…

Dearest friends,

As most of you are aware Mel and I are in the process of surrendering our simple laid back hippy life and putting ourselves and our music out into the world.

After years outside of mainstream society, I spent allot of time thinking about what I could do with my life that would be of the most benefit to me, my family, friends, community and the world. (Sounds grandiose but that’s me.)

With the best of my wisdom I felt that the most important thing I could do was to help myself and others become more consciously aware and connected to the heart, each other and the earth.

The message was coming from everywhere that a radical change was needed within the consciousness of humanity.

Somehow I always knew this time would come and I think that the days of waiting for someone or something to save us are gone. It is now time to work together and I know that we are joining with many who are recognising the need for reconnection and positive co-creation of a new way.

Through my own inner guidance I have been called to the work of bringing people together and reconnecting through group singing.

We are presenting devotion, prayer and mantras with a universal approach that is applicable to Now.

Mel has jumped fully on board with this project, playing harmonium and singing and we have had an amazing response in our local area of Byron and beyond with a huge amount of support from the community.

We have been working full time, putting all our love and resources into this project, as we believe that this is something that could really make a difference in the world.

We are planning to lead circles of this nature all over the world, and are beginning by launching my first album; ‘ONE’  in Australia, then Bali (Bali spirit festival), China and Japan and Korea, then around the world within a year. (That’s where we have been called to go).

One of the challenges that we have to take seriously is making it work financially, as I can no longer find the time to work a normal job as I did for so many years to support the music.

For the seven years of leading circles around Byron Bay I have managed to support myself and the music by doing odd plumbing jobs, and living a simple life. Now things have changed quite dramatically, and I apologise to my friends for not having much time anymore to catch up or fix your leaking taps.

The making of “ONE” had incredible support from the community, with so many giving their time and efforts, yet still a $20,000 debt has been incurred  and the expenses continue.

I know and believe that this will be paid off in the first year after the launch (and more, enough to support ourselves abundantly and make another CD), I just don’t know how, yet, (but I like surprises and expect miracles).

So we are sending out our intention to those closest to us for any feedback, advice or support.

This is a grass roots movement, and the power that it has lies within our community.
So we are asking (If it feels right to you) to forward our facebook  and email invites to the launch on to others who would enjoy the music. Our interstate networks at this stage are not that big, so if you have any friend’s interstate that may be interested in an event in their area please pass invites on, let them know what it’s about, and send them to the website.

Thank you so much for the support we have already received, we feel unbelievably blessed. This whole journey has been supported by such divine grace, that we feel that there is something greater at work than just us.

For those of you who are thinking of traveling interstate with us for the launches, know that your name will be on the door, and your energy will be totally appreciated. Flights are really cheap at the moment, and there will be a beautiful team of us in each state.
